Gratitude

Job, Supervisor, and My Cheerleader

Today I am thankful for:

1. My job. Even when I go to work tired, I leave invigorated. I witness people who experience (and are) miracles when I am there. I left today knowing that God is active in our lives. Thankful.

2. My supervisor. Her belief in me has helped get me farther down the path of believing in myself. Because of her support, I have become more confident and relaxed in my work. I feel blessed.

3. My husband. We made sacrifices in our life together in order for me to go back and get my master’s degree. He has been my cheerleader throughout this whole process. I get to do what I love and be a better person because of it. I am deeply grateful.

What are you thankful for today?

  1. 1. Today my son didn’t feel well, and I kept him home from school. I did not HAVE to leave today to teach my typical Thursday afternoon class. It’s the first time in over 10 years that I didn’t have to leave him with someone else on a day I would have been teaching. (No substitute teachers in college classes…) 2. I read about the Cenacle Center on your blog yesterday. I’ve already filled out and mailed in my questionnaire. I had no idea that was available. 3. I love the side-by-side time with my son — before and after the bus, and driving to and from gymnastics — the most interesting random thoughts bubble up. I’d never hear them if I weren’t physically there.
