Today I am thankful for:
1. Fall Decorations. My daughter and I pulled all of the fall decor out of the closet and spruced up the house. Each decoration brings with it precious family memories from years past. Beautiful.
2. Cards. My son taught me two new card games tonight. One involved a lot of slapping the table. He and I were both competing pretty fiercely. Ouch. My hand is still burning. 
3. A cool evening walk. My husband and I talked over the day during an after-dinner sunset walk. We took turns spotting the cats all over our neighborhood.
